Southern Nutrition ("we," "us," or "our") operates retail nutrition and supplement stores in Brandon and Riverview, Florida, and provides the SN Members mobile app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including for the SN Members app and our SMS text messaging program.
Information We Collect
- Contact details you provide, such as your name, mobile phone number, and email address (used to sign in and to manage your account).
- Purchase history and account information when you shop with us or use the SN Members app, including your loyalty points balance.
- Body composition (InBody) scan results (such as weight, body-fat %, and lean mass) from scans you choose to have in store.
- Progress photos you choose to add to a scan in the app.
- Device push token if you turn on notifications, so we can send them to your device.
- Diagnostic data — anonymous crash and error reports from the app (no name, email, phone, or IP address) to keep the app stable.
We do not collect your location: the app's "find my nearest store" feature reads your location only on your device to pick the closer store, and that location is never sent to us or stored.
How We Use Your Information
- To process purchases and manage your customer account and loyalty points.
- To show you your InBody scan results and progress over time in the SN Members app.
- To send account and order updates, pickup notices, restock reminders, scan reminders, and (with your permission) push notifications.
- To send occasional promotions and offers, if you have opted in to text messages.
- To improve our products, stores, app stability, and customer experience.
Apple Health (HealthKit)
Your health data stays yours. If you choose to use the Apple Health features in the SN Members app, we write your InBody results (weight, body-fat %) to Apple Health and read your weight history to chart your progress — only to show it back to you. We never use Apple Health data for advertising or marketing, never use it for data-mining, and never share it with third parties. You control this in iOS Settings > Health and can turn it off at any time.
Progress Photos
Progress photos you choose to add in the app are stored privately and linked only to your account. They are never shared or used for any purpose other than showing them back to you. You can remove them at any time.
Push Notifications & Apple Wallet
If you enable notifications, we store a device token so we can deliver them; you can turn notifications off in iOS Settings. If you add your loyalty card to Apple Wallet, the pass contains your name and points balance and is generated on request — we do not track your Wallet usage.
SMS / Text Messaging
Mobile information is never shared. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your SMS opt-in or consent information with third parties, affiliates, or service providers for their own marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in consent is collected solely so we can message you, and is never transferred outside Southern Nutrition.
- We send texts only to customers who have provided their mobile number and actively agreed to receive messages (when signing up for an account in store or via the customer signup form at members.snmembers.com/join).
- By providing your phone number, you agree to receive recurring text messages from Southern Nutrition.

How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their advertising. We share information only with service providers who help us operate (for example, our cloud hosting and database provider, our text-messaging provider, and an anonymous app crash-reporting provider), and only to the extent needed to provide our services, or where required by law. We never share mobile opt-in data for third-party marketing, and Apple Health data is never shared.
Data Security
We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard the data you share with us.
Your Choices
- Opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP (Reply STOP to opt out).
- Delete your account and data directly in the SN Members app (Me tab > Privacy & data > Delete my account). We anonymize your personal information on request; some de-identified records may be retained as required for financial/legal recordkeeping.
- Manage Apple Health sharing in iOS Settings > Health, and notifications in iOS Settings.
- Contact us any time to access, update, or request deletion of your information.
Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent changes.
